Florian Brungraber (TriPower Freistadt, Upper Austria) took silver in the PTWC class at the 2026 World Triathlon Para Championships in Pontevedra.

On 25 September he crossed the line in 1:03:28. Gold went to his compatriot Thomas Frühwirth (1:02:33), bronze to Joseph Fritsch (FRA, 1:04:36) – an Austrian one-two at the front. Brungraber posted the field’s best run split and moved up into second.

He raced on XeNTiS MARK3 SL wheels, a carbon development built specifically for racing wheelchairs. Handmade in Austria, engineered for stiffness, weight and speed on the bike.

Congratulations, Florian. World Championship silver. Well raced.
