Terms of payment
The customer can choose from the available payment methods during and before completing the order process.
We accept prepayment, instant bank transfer, payments by debit or credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro) as well as payments via PayPal and instalment payments via SEPA direct debit. Payment by instalments via SEPA direct debit (Austria & Germany).
If third-party providers are commissioned to process payments, e.g. PayPal, their general terms and conditions apply.
Invoices are considered approved if no written objection is made within 8 days of the invoice date.
If the due date for payment is determined according to the calendar, the customer is already in default by missing the deadline. In this case, the customer must pay default interest.
Incoming payments will first be used to offset interest and ancillary costs, even if this provision conflicts with the customer’s payment designations.
We are entitled at any time to demand immediate cash payment and security for outstanding amounts if the customer’s creditworthiness deteriorates significantly or no longer exists, in which case we may withdraw from the contract and reclaim goods that have already been delivered but not yet paid for.
In the event of even partial default in payment and in the event of default in acceptance, default interest of 4% per annum shall be charged. If the customer is in default, the risk of accidental loss or deterioration shall pass to the customer upon the occurrence of the default.
In addition, we shall be entitled to demand immediate payment of all claims and to retain outstanding deliveries until receipt of the invoice amounts in accordance with § 1052 ABGB (Austrian Civil Code). This shall also apply to one-off deliveries if we only become aware of the customer’s uncertain financial situation after conclusion of the contract.
Payments with debt-discharging effect can only be made to one of the accounts listed on the invoice forms or to a representative authorised by us in writing. Only cash payments and unconditional credit to our accounts are considered effective payment.
